January Sunset Engagement Session in Iceland

Engagement Photoshoot in January | Iceland Photographer
Bettina Vass Photography | Iceland
There’s nothing more magical than a photo shoot in the snow, so why not embrace a winter wonderland with winter engagement photos?
Eimer and Paul’s were visiting Iceland for the second time when we met. They explored the south part of Iceland during their first time and at their second visit they were planning to spend a whole week at north Iceland. They wanted to meet me for an engagement photoshoot after arriving to the island but before heading to north. They picked up their rental car at the Keflavik airport and messaged me when they were on their way to the city. We met at the unique recreational red lava park close to Reykjavik. Heiðmörk is such a cool location for shorter photoshoots. It is only a short drive from downtown Reykjavik but offers a scenic view for epic photos.
I guess I don’t have to mention that it was freezing cold as usual. The temperature was hitting the -10 Celsius (14 Fahrenheit). Don’t be fooled by the sun when you are scrolling down the pictures. I wan’t you to feel the cold because we were chilled to the bone.
But it was 100% worth!
